VP Construction / Director of Construction

On-site

Elysium is building a new category: experiential real estate communities engineered for high experience yield. This isn’t “build some buildings.” It’s building a living system—housing, amenities, energy, mobility, and operations—where everything must work together on day one.

This role is the difference between a beautiful vision and a finished village.

The mission (what you’ll actually do)

You are the owner-side construction authority. You turn design intent into a delivered, commissioned, operational reality—on schedule, on budget, with quality that holds up.

You will:

  • Lead end-to-end construction delivery for the minimum viable village (and future phases).
  • Own the construction strategy: contracting model, GMP, sequencing, site logistics, QA/QC standards.
  • Drive schedule truth: critical path, look-aheads, constraint removal, accountability.
  • Run the ecosystem: GC(s), subs, design partners, vendors, inspectors—without chaos.
  • Protect “experience yield” while enforcing ruthless cost discipline and constructability.
  • Build a repeatable delivery machine that scales to multiple sites.

Profile we’re looking for (non-negotiables)

  • 15–25+ years delivering complex, multi-building projects (mixed-use/campus/hospitality/multifamily).
  • Has led owner-side delivery or acted as a true delivery executive with real authority.
  • Proven record with budgets, schedules, and quality under high pressure.
  • Strong instincts for constructability, value engineering, and cost-to-complete discipline.
  • Builds systems: cadence, reporting, issue resolution, field culture.

What you’ll build in your first 90 days

  • The delivery plan: contracting strategy, procurement timeline, construction phasing and site logistics.
  • A field execution cadence: weekly risk + schedule reviews, constraint log, decision log, KPI scoreboard.
  • A quality system that prevents defects, rework, and “looks good on paper” outcomes.
  • A commissioning and turnover approach that makes launch operationally smooth.
