Elysium is building a village where operations feel invisible: water always works, power is stable, systems don’t break, and residents don’t think about utilities—because the system was engineered and maintained properly.

This role is for someone who loves reliability, resilience, and operational excellence.

The mission (what you’ll actually do)

You will run the utility backbone of Elysium—water, wastewater, power operations, and resilience readiness—so the village operates like a well-tuned machine.

You will:

Own day-to-day utilities operations: water systems, wastewater, power distribution interfaces, metering.
Manage vendors and service providers, maintenance schedules, and incident response.
Build resilience playbooks: outages, storms, equipment failures, supply disruptions.
Track performance metrics: uptime, cost per resident, efficiency, fault frequency.
Coordinate with MEP/Energy design lead on commissioning, warranty periods, and operational handoff.
Create operational SOPs that scale cleanly to future sites.

Profile we’re looking for (non-negotiables)

8–15+ years operating utilities in campus, industrial, municipal, or large property environments.
Comfortable with preventive maintenance systems, fault diagnostics, and emergency response.
Strong understanding of water and wastewater systems and power distribution basics.
Calm under pressure and relentlessly organized.

What you’ll build in your first 90 days

SOPs + maintenance calendar + critical spares strategy for all utility systems.
Resilience plans and drills: what happens when key systems fail.
An operational dashboard: uptime, incidents, maintenance completion, cost trends.
Vendor ecosystem and escalation paths that actually work at 2am.
