This role sits at the intersection of ecology, design, and performance.

The mission (what you’ll actually do)

You will design and lead the environmental strategy that makes Elysium feel good to live in: cooler streets, smarter shade, better airflow, resilient planting, and stormwater systems that are functional and beautiful.

You will:

Create a microclimate plan: shade strategy, tree canopy, materials, albedo choices, cooling corridors.
Lead landscape ecology design that supports human comfort, biodiversity, and low-maintenance durability.
Own stormwater strategy: infiltration, retention, drainage, erosion prevention, flood resilience.
Coordinate with architecture, civil engineering, and utilities to integrate solutions early.
Establish standards that scale across future Elysium cities.

Profile we’re looking for (non-negotiables)

8–15+ years in microclimate/landscape ecology/civil-environmental work for large projects.
Experience designing for heat mitigation and stormwater resilience (real built work, not theory).
Strong modeling + measurement mindset: comfort is quantified, not guessed.
Ability to collaborate tightly across disciplines and protect the intent through execution.

A stormwater blueprint tied to site constraints and regulatory realities.
A planting and materials strategy optimized for durability and maintenance.
