Elysium is not a normal real estate project. It’s an attempt to build a new living standard—where community, technology, and physical infrastructure integrate into one operating system.

That means legal isn’t a cost center here. It’s a risk engine and a speed engine.

The mission (what you’ll actually do)

You will be the legal backbone that allows Elysium to move fast without stepping on landmines.

You’ll own:

Real estate legal: acquisitions, development agreements, title/survey coordination, zoning interfaces.
Contracting: GC agreements, design/engineering agreements, vendor/MSA frameworks, procurement terms.
Risk & compliance: insurance strategy coordination, liability frameworks, resident agreements, governance structures.
Regulatory coordination: privacy/security implications (ECM), security protocols, and operating policies.

Profile we’re looking for (non-negotiables)

10–20+ years as counsel in real estate development / construction / complex contracting.
Comfortable being hands-on (this is startup legal, not big-law spectator mode).
Strong commercial judgment: knows when to fight, when to concede, and how to keep momentum.
Can create templates and systems that scale.

What you’ll build in your first 90 days

A contract system that reduces negotiation cycles while protecting Elysium.
Core templates: design, construction, procurement, employment/contractor, resident/member agreements.
A risk register tied to real-world mitigation steps (not legal theater).
