Elysium is building a place where daily life feels upgraded—without being pretentious. Food is central to that: nourishing, craveable, consistent, and scalable.

We need a chef who can create delight at scale—with discipline, speed, and taste.

The mission (what you’ll actually do)

You are the culinary leader responsible for menu vision, kitchen execution, quality systems, and the “signature” of how Elysium tastes.

You will:

Design a menu system that balances delight + nutrition + scalability + cost realism.
Lead kitchen operations: prep systems, line efficiency, quality control, consistency.
Build recipes and standards that survive volume (not just one perfect plate).
Train and develop culinary teams; enforce standards without creating burnout.
Partner with purchasing to lock supply and substitutions without quality collapse.
Contribute to experience programming through seasonal menus, themed nights, signature rituals.

Profile we’re looking for (non-negotiables)

8–15+ years as an executive chef or culinary director in high-volume environments.
Strong operational chef: you can design systems, not just dishes.
Deep competence in consistency, training, sanitation, and speed.
Taste + restraint: can make food feel elevated without exotic complexity.

What you’ll build in your first 90 days

A scalable menu framework: rotating cycles, core staples, seasonal features, production plans.
Recipe standards and QC checkpoints that ensure consistency.
Kitchen workflow design: prep maps, station layout, throughput targets.
Training system that produces repeatable excellence across staff.
