Elysium requires a rare kind of security: high protection with low visibility.
Like Disney—where you feel safe, never policed. Where security is everywhere, yet almost never felt.

We need someone who can build a layered security and emergency response system that blends into the environment—while staying ahead of modern threats and unconventional response tools.

The mission (what you’ll actually do)

You will design and lead the security and emergency management operating system for a campus-scale village.

You will:

Build a “security that doesn’t feel like security” strategy: unobtrusive surveillance, environmental design, discreet presence.
Own emergency preparedness: weather, medical events, fire/life safety response coordination, incident command.
Design layered response: human teams + technology + rapid escalation protocols.
Evaluate and integrate modern tools where appropriate: drones, sensor networks, intelligent access systems, and future-forward response concepts (including aerial support where feasible).
Coordinate with the City OS (ECM) team on access control, identity, incident logging, and response workflows.
Develop training, drills, and partnerships with local agencies.

Profile we’re looking for (non-negotiables)

10–20+ years security leadership in complex environments: campuses, theme parks, resorts, airports, or critical infrastructure.
Deep experience in emergency management and incident response systems.
Strong grasp of security-by-design: how to use layout, lighting, sightlines, and behavior to reduce threats.
Comfortable with advanced security technology and modern response tools without becoming paranoid or “tacticool.”

What you’ll build in your first 90 days

A complete security architecture: perimeter, access, internal zones, monitoring, response tiers.
Emergency response playbooks + drill schedule + incident command structure.
A discreet staffing model: visible hospitality presence + invisible security capability.
A technology roadmap aligned with privacy, comfort, and effectiveness.
