Elysium’s City OS is a live system. If it’s down, the village feels broken.
Reliability here isn’t nice—it’s existential.

This role owns uptime, delivery pipelines, and operational excellence.

The mission (what you’ll actually do)

You will build and run the reliability backbone: cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, monitoring, and incident response.

You will:

Design and operate scalable cloud infrastructure for the City OS.
Build CI/CD pipelines with security and quality gates that don’t slow delivery.
Own observability: metrics, logs, traces, alerts, and runbooks.
Lead incident response: on-call systems, postmortems, continuous improvement.
Partner with security to enforce best practices across the stack.

Profile we’re looking for (non-negotiables)

7–12+ years in DevOps/SRE with deep cloud infrastructure experience.
Strong automation mindset: infrastructure-as-code, repeatable environments, minimal snowflakes.
Experience building CI/CD pipelines and reliability systems in production.
Calm operator during incidents: clear thinking under pressure.

What you’ll build in your first 90 days

A production-grade cloud setup: IaC, environments, secrets management, access controls.
A CI/CD pipeline that is fast, safe, and measurable.
Observability and incident readiness: dashboards, alerts, runbooks, on-call rotation.
A reliability plan that scales from one village to many.
