Elysium runs a physical community through software. That means security isn’t an IT checkbox—it’s safety, privacy, trust, and continuity.

We need a security leader who can build hardened systems while keeping the product simple and the culture fast.

The mission (what you’ll actually do)

You will own security architecture across identity, devices, cloud infrastructure, and operational security for the City OS.

You will:

Define identity and access security: auth, permissions, audit logging, policy models.
Lead threat modeling and security reviews across app, platform, IoT, and blockchain layers.
Establish security standards: encryption, secrets management, vulnerability management, secure SDLC.
Build incident response readiness: detection, containment, postmortems, continuous hardening.
Partner with product and engineering to ship securely without paralysis.

Profile we’re looking for (non-negotiables)

10–20+ years security leadership; deep practical experience (not policy-only).
Strong identity/security architecture background with modern cloud systems.
Comfortable securing IoT and physical access integrations.
Proven track record building security culture in fast-moving environments.

What you’ll build in your first 90 days

A security architecture and threat model for the entire City OS.
A secure development lifecycle that actually gets followed.
Incident response playbooks + tabletop exercises + monitoring standards.
A security roadmap aligned with launch priorities and real risk.
